On Tuesday 7th May, a cast of LC1s and LC2s performed ‘Showcase’. The performance was a collection of short scenes derived from ‘Platform Plays’, an initiative with Tonic Theatre that is in partnership with Nick Hern Books.
The plays are aimed at addressing gender imbalance and inequality in theatre. The cast was challenged to take on roles of various characters from multiple plays in the series and they did exactly that with a huge amount of energy and enthusiasm.
The whole cast worked incredibly hard throughout the rehearsal process and created a wonderful experience for their audience.
