Purchasing a CLC Educational Course
Thank you for your interest in purchasing from CLC Services. Before you proceed to your purchase, we strongly recommend you to go through the following terms and conditions:
1.1 In this section, words like ‘holder’, ‘bearer’, and ‘purchaser’ will refer to you - the person who will purchase from CLC Services. On the other hand, ‘our’, ‘us’, ‘we’, ‘issuer’, ‘provider’ and similar terms will indicate CLC Services.
1.2 By opting to purchase, allocate or possess a place on a course, you automatically agree to our terms of use. If you have problems with any of the clauses listed below or do not agree with the risk allocations mentioned here, please do not place your purchase or try to enter the Cheltenham Ladies’ College premises.
1.3 Please note that CLC Services reserves the right to make changes, revisions, and amendments, or add/remove sections from this set of terms and conditions - without any prior notifications to you. Such changes will be duly reflected on the website of the organiser venues@cheltladiescollege.org. These changes will relate back to the date of purchase of your place or ticket.
1.4 The price of a place on a CLC Educational course is as advertising on our website. This figure is non-negotiable.
1.5 The place you purchase represents a revocable license for you to access Cheltenham Ladies’ College on the advertised dates, when the course is scheduled to be hosted. This license can be revoked at any time by the issuer at its sole discretion, without any prior notifications or compensation options. If the license is revoked, you will not be granted entry at the venue.
1.6 The bearer has to assume full responsibility of their place, once (s)he receives it. CLC Services has no liabilities - financial, legal, or otherwise - in case the place is rendered unusable in any way.
1.7 Kindly note that https://venues.cheltladiescollege.org and https://www.cheltladiescollege.org are the sole authorised sources for purchasing a place on a CLC Educational Course. If you obtain your place from any other unauthorised source, you take on the risks of those places turning out to be counterfeit or reported to be stolen. The issuer has the right to dishonour such stolen/counterfeit places and declare them as void.
1.8 The confirmation of place emailed to you is not meant to be used for illegal reselling, copying, reproducing, or misrepresenting in any form. You cannot use the place(s) for any promotional/advertising purposes either (including sweepstakes and competitions) without our prior approval. Any proven record of such activities will result in immediate seizure and cancellation of your place(s).
1.9 Please note that places on a CLC Educational Course cannot be redeemed against cash, credits, or any other benefits.
1.10 By purchasing a place on a CLC Educational Course, you give your consent to CLC Services to collect and process certain information about yourself/the attendee (name, date of birth, gender, address, medical information, etc.) for communication regarding the course, and to meet your/the attendee’s needs whilst in attendance. We may also contact you after the course for feedback purposes and to share details of similar future events that may be of interest to you. All data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Notice <link>.
1.11 You hereby agree to forego all types of surcharge claims - full or in part - and all claims & entitlements related to it.
1.12 CLC Services does not take any responsibility to personal/financial damages caused to you at the venue, or for any items lost/stolen/misplaced at the venue. Financial reimbursement claims on these counts will not be entertained.
1.13 CLC Services follow a common ‘zero-tolerance policy’ towards unauthorised drug usage or carrying at the venue, AND towards any type of behaviour/actions that is illegal or can be interpreted as lewd or obscene. If you are found in possession of prohibited items at a CLC Educational Course and/or if you indulge in any objectionable action, your participation in the event will be terminated immediately. Your place will become void from that point on.
1.14 Please note that you purchase places on a CLC Educational Course on your own free will. As such, you do not have the right to initiate a chargeback claim or dispute on the provider of the credit card/debit card that had been used for the transaction. Further refund/return/cancellation requests will not be entertained either.
1.15 In all cases of disputes between the attendee and the organiser, the decision of the latter will be deemed final. In case a dispute cannot be resolved, the help of an independent third-party arbiter will be sought.
2.1 The event service will be deemed to have been delivered in its entirety as soon as the Course starts. From that point on, no refund requests will be entertained.
2.2 If you are not able to access any particular section(s) of the venue – Cheltenham Ladies’ College - due to delays, government regulations, organiser policies, weather-related problems, emergencies, venue shutdown/evacuation or any other reason, you will not be eligible for any refunds or future credits.
2.3 If a CLC Educational Course is cancelled in its entirety due to any unforeseen circumstances, CLC Services has the sole and absolute right to:
i) reschedule the event, or
ii) issue a partial/full refund, or
iii) not issue any refunds.
Please note that the decision of the issuer in such cases will be deemed final and binding.
2.4 If a CLC Educational Course is cancelled due to any factors or causes not in the control of the issuer, the latter will offer a partial or full refund, or postpone the event, or provide a comparable ‘make good’ option. These factors will be inclusive of, but not limited to, natural disasters, government announcements, strikes, delays in production, and the like. Once again, the decision of CLC Services will be considered final.
2.5 If a CLC Educational Course has to be rescheduled to other dates, you will not be eligible for any refunds. In case the course is fully cancelled, the refund, if issued, will include ONLY the face value/printed value of the course. The attendee cannot, under any circumstances, claim refunds on shipping fees, processing fees, handling fees, and such other charges.
2.6 Losses, if any, occurring due to foreign exchange fluctuations at the time of refunds, have to be borne by the purchaser. CLC Services cannot be, in any way, held liable for that.
2.7 By purchasing a place on a CLC Educational Course, you automatically confirm that you/the attendee(s) are a suitable age and ability for the course
2.8 If it is proven beyond doubt at the venue that an attendee is not suitable for the course due to age or ability, they will not be granted entry to the course. No refunds, full or partial, will be issued either.
