Along with thousands of amazing people across the world, CLC staff and students decided to ‘Wear it Pink’ in support of breast cancer charities. October is the month that marks breast cancer awareness, and Friday 20th was the day designated by charities such as Breast Cancer Now, which helps to fund life-saving breast cancer research and vital support for those with breast cancer.
Students and staff were happy to join in with this cause that is close to our hearts. A number of CLC families, which include staff, have been personally affected by Breast Cancer and we are always keen to contribute towards ways to improve outcomes for those affected. Thanks to ongoing research, there is such good news about wonderful advances in treatment and we certainly want to be part of this!
More fabulous news is that we have raised just over £750 so far, and if you would like to help this further, you can donate via this link too!
