On Tuesday 23rd April, students from LC1 to SFC2 came together to participate in the Colour Run at the Health and Fitness Centre to raise money for the charity ‘Doctors Without Borders’.
The run came about in October last year, at the height of the humanitarian crisis in Gaza. Inspired by the urgency of the humanitarian crisis, we rallied together with a clear mission: to extend a helping hand to those in need, guided by the principle of impartiality.
Students were given a t-shirt, customised by the organisers with ‘Colour Run 2024’ written on it, to run around the HFC field while throwing coloured powder at one another.
The sun was out, and the music was blasting on the speaker, and students enjoyed an afternoon away from their schoolwork while enjoying the refreshments we had at the run.
Jackie (SFC1)
A huge well done to SFC1 students Maddie, Tessa and Jackie for organising this activity.
