On Friday 31st January, six UC4s attended the Cheltenham Education Partnership: Horizons Council event at Balcarras School.
They were joined by pupils from all of the Cheltenham secondary schools and a range of experts and policy makers from across Gloucestershire. The event is part of a wider ‘Chelt4Change’ initiative, and was one of the original Cheltenham Education Partnership’s programmes. It was developed and named by SFC pupils five years ago and continues to this day – a real legacy for pupils!
The six pupils spent the day exploring contemporary issues for young people. They worked as a College team in the first half of the day and then pupils were placed into mixed school groups to propose solutions to challenges.
Gloria, Yara, Jocasta, Chizzy, Laila, and Mary were all fantastic ambassadors for College.
