For Chemistry Week this year, the Chemistry Department and Chemistry Reps challenged staff and students to reimagine the classic periodic table.
Mendeleev gave us a logical and wonderful arrangement of all the known elements that build the natural world and the universe beyond. We asked the students to suggest the elements that make up the CLC world and wider universe. The students were challenged to think of qualities, places, clubs, foods, traditions, objects and activities that make up life at CLC in 2024.
Elements were displayed outside the Library, until the periodic table took its classic form in the Chemistry Department. The Chemistry Department would like to thank all staff and students who made suggestions.
