A big thank you to everyone who donated Christmas gifts to our College Charity, St Hilda’s East. I drove up with Rick from Security to deliver the gifts just before Christmas.
The centre users were delighted with your donations. The ‘Brave Girls’ group opened theirs whilst we were there, and we also sent some ‘big ticket’ items for the creche and the youth groups such as dolly pushchairs, speakers and smoothie makers. A great effort from all pupils and staff, thank you.
We also donated unwanted books from the library recently to the Cornerstone Centre in Whaddon. They do vital work in the local community and have a free library. They were delighted with the books we gave them. Thank you to Mrs Muhlberg for sorting and collecting the books.
