Throughout this half term, 10 teams in UC4 have been taking part in CLC Enterprise 10, a challenge where students are given £10 and asked to turn this into as much profit as possible for College charities through making creative and sustainable products.
Each team was responsible for all functions of their business, in particular finance, marketing and operations. The teams were given a trading opportunity each week within College, and also at the SFC1 Parents Meeting.
The teams had many different products for sale from flowers made from pipe cleaners and balloons, crochet animals, felt stars, keychains, upcycled cosmetic bags and animals made with the EET 3D printer.
The collective teams have made an astounding profit of over £5,500! Thank you to all involved for all of your hard work.
