On Saturday mornings, UC4 students took part in the College Maths Feast, a series of six sessions designed to challenge aspiring mathematicians. Students worked in groups of four, tackling a variety of mathematical activities that tested their problem-solving and teamwork skills.
At each session, we introduced pupils to new and exciting challenges, including creative activities such as origami, crafting intricate snowflakes, and solving Sudoku puzzles. These hands-on tasks encouraged our students to think critically and approach mathematical concepts with creativity and curiosity.
The Maths Feast culminated in an award ceremony where the best-performing team received certificates and GCHQ puzzle books. Awards were also given to teams who excelled in specific rounds, and for teamwork.
Congratulations to everyone who took part in Maths Feast 2025!
