CLC Staff Walk to Raise Funds for Breast Cancer Now
19th June 2024

Sometimes when there are things we can’t change, there are things we CAN do to bring about some change. This is why about twenty members of staff joined in with the Pink Ribbon Walk to help raise funds for the Breast Cancer Now charity. We walked to honour our much-loved colleagues, friends and family members who have been affected in any way by breast cancer.

We walked together in the grounds of the picturesque Blenheim Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage site, which provided a unique setting for the start and finish of the challenge. Most of us walked ten miles, though more energetic individuals set off extra early to complete twenty miles!

The route took us through spectacular scenery and it was a joyful, colourful and celebratory event throughout. What we are thrilled about is that our team has raised over £3,600 towards supporting this marvellous charity! You can see photos and more details on our team page.

Events such as this helps Breast Cancer Now to fund their world-class research and vital work. Thanks to ongoing research, there is such good news about wonderful advances in treatment and we are pleased to be part of this!
