Firstly, thank you to everyone who donated duvets and pillows to the YMCA, they were delighted to have so many. Thanks to staff and House staff for digging out those unwanted duvets from the backs of linen cupboards and bringing them over to main campus.
This week, the Greenpower Team held a bake sale to raise funds for their kit car and uniforms. Well done to all those involved in organising it, the cookies sold out very quickly! The team can now buy helmets and specialist equipment needed to race the car.
We also had two SFC1 students who as part of our Community Links programme made heart-shaped cuddlies for children at Battledown Centre for Families. In a bid to reduce waste, they made them from recycled materials. Thank you to those students for your social action and contribution to our local community.
