On Saturday 10th June, the Junior Concert took place in the Princess Hall, with wonderful performances from students in LC1 (Year 7) and LC2 (Year 8). It was a very special occasion as they performed to the whole of their year groups with enthusiastic applause from their peers.
We heard a variety of vocal solos from Belén, Alice, Chloe and Freya, from cantabile Handel arias to witty musical theatre numbers. Violinists Vivienne, Charlotte and Claire gave refined performances from composers Villoldo, Telemann and McGibbon. Danielle serenaded us with a solo flute item before performing again on the piano, and Eva and Jojo showed off their virtuosic skills with their piano performances.
The concert was also watched by many Open Day parents, so it was a great performing opportunity for our youngest students. Congratulations to all who performed.
