On Monday 4th March, our annual Inter-House Public Speaking event took place. Students explored pressing global issues and formulated five-minute speeches, taking and advocating for a stance of their choice before facing questions from the Questioner and the Floor.
Students advocated for a variety of different topics including ‘Should animals be kept in captivity?’, ‘Should the government invest in space exploration?’ and ‘Should healthcare workers make more money than professional athletes?’.
