Last Tuesday was an absolute delight as we joined a small group for a Mexican cooking workshop led by our wonderful Spanish teachers, Mr Moya and Mrs Roca.
The atmosphere was warm and inviting, filled with laughter and the enticing aromas of fresh ingredients, ably prepared by Mrs Heard, Head of Food and Nutrition. We learned to make authentic tacos which turned out to be more like burritos!
The Mexican cooking was a really fun side to Spanish, learning a bit more of the language and experiencing more of the culture - and of course the tacos were delicious. We would love to repeat this experience, perhaps exploring new recipes next time.
Sharing the burritos together at the end felt like a true celebration, and it was heartwarming to bond over our culinary creations. It’s a day we won’t soon forget! We would love to do it again sometime.
