We are so proud of LC3 (Y9) pupil, Livvie, who has been appointed as Head Girl Chorister at Gloucester Cathedral.
Since the establishment of the Cathedral Choir by Henry VIII in 1541, choristerships were only available to boys. Five years ago, Livvie was a founder member of the Cathedral Girls’ Choir and has been a dedicated member ever since, balancing her school commitments with her duties at the Cathedral.
From this September, the choristers' duties have been split equally between the separate boys’ and girls’ choirs, and we wish Livvie all the very best for the coming year.
