Lunar New Year 2025
31st January 2025

This week, students have been celebrating the Lunar New Year, a festival deeply cherished by our community.

On Wednesday morning, students had a joyful start to the day with a festive Prayers. The Princess Hall was filled with decorations and cheer.

Students learnt about important traditions and rituals, as well as exploring the Chinese Zodiac and its predictions for the year ahead. A highlight of the celebration was the retelling of the legend of the Snake Spirit, Bai Suzhen, brought to life through animations and acting by UC4 pupils.

Staff and students continued the celebrations with a shared meal in their decorated Houses, bringing everyone together in the spirit of the festival.

A huge thank you to Lily (LC2), for submitting a brilliant drawing to mark the celebration.
