Our offering for a young people’s event for Heritage Open Days was our ‘Murder Most Unladylike’ Tours.
Three tours took place and 18 visitors were shown various places around College that helped create ‘Deepdean’, a fictional boarding school in the ‘Murder Most Unladylike’ series of books written by Guild member and best-selling author, Robin Stevens.
We saw the gym where the murder happened, the tunnel where the body was hidden, and the Princess Hall where a fatal meal takes place.
All are quite recognisable, and the aspiring detectives were amazed to see Deepdean School come to life.
To round off the visit, ‘bunbreak’ was served by some of our UC4 (Year 10) pupils and a frightfully jolly time was had by all.
