On 30th November, we held a Rock and Pop Performance Platform - the first of its kind at CLC.
There were 23 performers in total, treating us to exhilarating performances on the drums; accomplished electric guitar solos, intimate solos and duets given by our acoustic guitarists. The Performance Platform, held in the GCR, was well-attended with a fantastic vibe and enthusiastic audience.
The concert also featured a jazz item, Moanin’ played by Eva (piano), Kelly (drums) and Jennifer (double bass), which impressively they had only put together for the first time in the Jazz Workshop earlier the same month. This is just the beginning!
The concert ended with a confident performance by our CLC band - Esohe (vocals), Alex (electric guitar), Hazel (bass guitar) and Beth (drums). Hopefully, the evening sowed the seed and inspired many of our younger performers to collaborate and form more bands together for next time.
