On 15th March to celebrate British Science Week, the Science Department took a Science Roadshow to St Thomas More Primary School in Cheltenham.
Mrs Bennett, Ms Constantine, Miss Leyland, Mr Gill and Mrs Bailey, supported by SFC students Helena, Stella and Tomi, led assemblies on the joint themes of ‘time’ and ‘smashing stereotypes’ to both KS1 and KS2 children.
The Year 4 class then took part in a StarLab activity, exploring the solar system, and the Year 5 class did some biology and chemistry experiments.
The children had a fantastic time and loved the exciting demos and the chance to get their hands on some ‘real life science’.
