On Saturday 2nd December, 11 SFC students, Señora Mooney, Señorita Bemrose and Señor Moya went to see The House of Bernarda Alba, at the National Theatre in London.
This was a fantastic opportunity to watch a modern representation of the play which will have helped our SFC students to understand it to a much deeper level.
As the play was in the afternoon, we were able to go for lunch at a Spanish restaurant near Covent Garden, and despite the cold, we enjoyed our walk crossing the Thames to the South Bank complex. Our students enjoyed the trip and appreciated seeing the play they are studying being performed in such a prestigious venue.
