Last week was the National Schools Table Tennis Competition.
Christy came runner up in the U18 event and Zimo also took home a silver medal at the U16 level, after a very close and tense final. She narrowly lost in the fifth and final game.
All students took so much away from the morning and were a credit to our school.
On Saturday afternoon, we welcomed Bromsgrove to CLC with their U18 and U15 badminton teams.
Our standard was high, and we defeated them 15-5 in the seniors and 12-7 in the U15. It’s great to see our coaching programme raising the standards of our players.
Well done to all players for their hard work.
With lots of fixtures cancelled recently due to weather, it was great to be able to play two really competitive hockey games against Wycliffe College to wrap up a busy term.
The U14s were set a number of challenges around possession and connections creating some excellent goals.
The U15s had a game full of goals at both ends. Well done all!
Our final swimming head-to-head of the term against Beaudesert Park School showcased the talents of our U12 and U13 swimmers. It was fantastic to see the progress they’ve made over the course of the term.
Well done to everyone involved – we’re excited to see how you continue to develop next term!
