Equestrian

Before half-term, Sofia (SFC1) was away from College in Le Mans, France, competing for Great Britain at 2025 Le Mans CDI, an international dressage competition. She was competing at U21 level on her horse Boccelli, winning all three classes she entered. A truly fantastic achievement in her first time at U21 level! She was also competing at U18 level on her horse Honey, gaining finishes of 5th, 4th and 2nd. Sofia continues to experience wonderful success, all thanks to the hard work and dedication she puts in training with her horses and her extra Strength & Conditioning work in the gym.

Well done to Popsy, who finished in 1st place at the Eventers Challenge Championship. Popsy competed in a combination of Cross Country and Show Jumping, showing a range of skills. She competed at the 80cm height and was 1st out of 30 competitors.

Swimming

Our LC1 and LC2 swimmers put in superb performances against a mixed team from Dean Close Prep just before half-term. With many taking on events outside their usual races, it was fantastic to see them embrace the challenge and step out of their comfort zones. Well done to everyone, with a special shout-out to LC1 Izzy, and LC2s Elizabeth and Georgie for achieving new personal bests.

Netball

Well done to Ella in UC5 who has been selected to represent England U17 Squad at Netball Europe 2025. The Europe Netball Under 17 Event 2025 is taking place from the 5th to 9th March 2025.

Hosted by Netball Northern Ireland, the competition is being held at Antrim Forum, Northern Ireland. This is a fantastic achievement to be selected to represent England at this competition.

Skiing

On day five of the English Alpine Ski Championships 2025, Alice (UC4) stormed to victory in the U16 Slalom competition. The competition, held over half term in Bormio, Italy, was a showcase of high level ski racing, and the sun was out for Alice’s race day providing great conditions for competing.

Dance

Congratulations to the 10 girls who performed in the Gloucestershire Schools Dance Festival at Cheltenham Town Hall before half term.

They performed a modern and contemporary dance piece from the 2024 Dance Showcase, which was greatly enjoyed by the audience. The Schools Festival is an annual event which brings together students of all ages from around the county for a fun evening of dance. Well done girls.
