Rowing

On 7th December, eight rowers had the opportunity to race at British Rowing Indoor Championships at the NEC in Birmingham.

This is a massive event, with people of all ages from 10-90 years old from schools and clubs up and down the country competing. All of the girls involved got Personal Best times, an absolutely fantastic achievement which they should all be very proud of.

It was a fantastic opportunity for the girls to put their hard work over the last few months to the test. Olympic champions and Great Britain athletes also compete at these events to showcase their skill and to test their fitness against their GB teammates. It was excellent for the girls to witness these races and take inspiration from their hard work and resilience.

Basketball

Before Christmas, the basketball team had another thriller against the Cheltenham Chargers in a return fixture.

The team have really started to develop as a group, building their confidence and tactical awareness.

Thank you to Angelina for leading the team so passionately.

Volleyball

In December, the volleyball team took part in a well-matched, competitive fixture against Bromsgrove.

It was wonderful to see the team’s confidence grow as the games went on and they quickly got into their stride and dominated play.

The team were well organised, encouraging of each other and positive throughout. A great afternoon of volleyball.
