The Geography Department took UC5 students to Bristol to investigate the success of the regeneration of the Harbourside.
Despite torrential rain, they gathered excellent geo-located data on environmental quality to help answer their fieldwork questions. They also used re-photography to compare locations before and after, epitome words to gather qualitative opinions and finally carried out a questionnaire on anyone else who had come out to brave the weather!
Students have now dried out and presented their data to reach valid conclusions; in preparation for their Paper 3 examination.
