16+ International Entry

Study A Levels or International Baccalaureate in a British Boarding School that prepares girls for a global future.

Each year, around 45 new students join our Sixth Form, enriching our community with diverse perspectives and experiences. Whether you choose A Levels or the International Baccalaureate (IB), you’ll be studying and living alongside boarding and day students from across the UK and around the world.

The emphasis of Sixth Form life at CLC is on increased independence, both in the classroom and beyond, as we empower you to take ownership of your future. A range of subject options, visiting speakers and clubs will enrich your time at CLC, providing balance and breadth. Alongside this, our experienced Professional Guidance Centre team will support you through university applications and key decisions about your future.

Visit Us

Join an Open Day (ideally, our Sixth Form Open Day in September each year, or a general one if you’re unable to make that date) or book a one-to-one visit to explore how life as a day student can support your future ambitions.

All visits must be pre-booked.

Register

We would encourage you to submit a Registration Form via our Admissions Portal as soon as you have decided College is an option. This means we can invite you to relevant events and inform you of key deadlines as they approach.

At the point of registration, international students should submit a current UKiset Profile.

Deadline: Beginning of October of Year 11

Academic Admissions and Scholarship Process

It is important for us to meet all our candidates as part of the entry process in order for us to get to know them as learners and potential members of our community.

The admissions process for Sixth Form is two-fold.

  • Essay and Interview: You’ll be asked to submit a handwritten essay then complete a virtual interview. A link to an Entrance Exam Form will be sent to successful applicants where you’ll be asked to submit course and scholarship preferences.

Deadline: Beginning of October of Year 11

  • Assessment Day: applicants will sit two written Sixth Form subject papers along with an adaptive verbal reasoning test, and an adaptive test (either Maths/Science or Art/Humanities), have a 1-2-1 interview with a member of the Sixth Form Team or Senior Leadership team and take part in a small, group-based activity.

Assessment Date: November of Year 11 at CLC
In some limited circumstances, we are also able to offer assessment days at a test centre in Singapore on a fixed date during the Autumn - please contact us for more information about this.

Short-listed Academic, Art, Music and Sport Scholarship applicants will participate in an additional assessment programme at CLC in the same week as the entrance exams.

Late Entry

If you have missed the application deadlines we are occasionally able to fast track an application, although we cannot guarantee that this will result in a place. Please do contact our Admissions team via the "Request a Callback" function on our Admissions Portal for a conversation about late entry options for your daughter.

I loved my two years at CLC. College really opens your eyes to a bigger world, and when people keep telling you that you can do anything you put your mind to, you begin to believe that these opportunities are yours for the taking.
